On 13-15 October 2021, ALL DIGITAL will organise its 14th annual summit entitled “Digital Skills and Tools for a Better World”. The event is organised online with a hybrid component in Brussels, Belgium
The main theme of the event will be ‘Digital Skills and Tools for a Better World’. The three days event will focus on three digital empowerment subjects: citizens and competence centres; STE(A)M educators; and young people.
The ALL DIGITAL Summit is the annual meeting point of all our members and stakeholders: non-profit organisations, libraries and networks of digital competence centres that empower citizens across Europe with technology. It is also a unique opportunity for the European digital inclusion sector to present achievements and exchange ideas with policy makers at EU and national level, academics, young people, digital skills trainers and private companies among other stakeholders.
The connecting aspect between these themes is solving real world and societal problems through digital tools and approaches. The underlying aim of the event is to increase capacity, readiness and resilience of digital competence centres.
In addition to keynotes and panel discussions, the event will introduce a number of projects to the audience and go into varying levels of detail about a range of tools and approaches for different purposes and different audiences under these themes.
Who we are
The Summit is organised by ALL DIGITAL – a Brussels-based network of organisations working to enhance digital skills of Europeans. We were established in 2007 on the initiative of digital inclusion leaders with support from Microsoft first as an informal thematic network, and in 2010 – as a formal international non-profit association. Thirteen years later, we are a major European Association in the field of digital inclusion and empowerment, but also a family united by one purpose: empower Europe through digital skills.
Our vision is that every European should be able to exploit the benefits and opportunities created by digital transformation. We are ALL DIGITAL. Our members are organisations leading the networks of digital competence centres – low threshold community centres, NGOs, libraries, other public places where people get access to technology and the Internet and learn digital skills.
The Summit
The ALL DIGITAL Summit is one of the leading public events in Europe on digital competences. It provides a unique platform where trainers and facilitators working for digital competence centres, ICT learning centres, adult education centres are joined by education and employability experts, private and public stakeholders, including policy makers, to exchange experiences and share knowledge, reflect together on strategies to expand the number of digitally literate citizens, while networking to identify new potential partners in future projects.
